Sven Tillack (born 1986) Portrait of Sven Tillack, 2023 is a graphic designer based in Stuttgart, Germany. The center of his work revolves around content-driven visual expression in two- and three-dimensional space. After an apprenticeship in media design, he graduated from Stuttgart Academy Of Fine Arts in 2017. Together with Steffen Knöll, he co-founded Studio Tillack Knöll, Design Practice Studio Tillack Knöll co-founders Sven Tillack and Steffen Knöll, 2023 in 2018, a graphic design studio focusing on a wide array of projects, including digital and spatial design, as well as institutional identities and printed matter. Their work is internationally recognized and exhibited in major design competitions and festivals such as Biennale internationale de design graphique (Graphic Design Biennal Chaumont) , Tokyo Type Directors Club Das Signal, artist book for Ann-Kathrin Müller and Judith Engel; © Studio Tillack Knöll 2023 and 100 Beste Plakate (100 Best Posters) Das Signal, three color offset print, 594x841mm © Studio Tillack Knöll, 2022 among others, as well as awarded by Schönste Deutsche Bücher (Best German Book Design). In 2023 Studio Tillack Knöll were invited to take part in the annual design competition for Kieler Woche. Tillack has a strong interest and thus background in print techniques, besides working on ICC profiles for riso printing, he authored Exploriso: Low-Tech Fine Art, Exploriso: Low-tech fine Art; Compendium about RISO printing, written by Sven Tillack, 2017–2022 a book that delves into risography as an artistic process. He has experience in teaching locally as well as internationally.

2024 Poster Playground: 7×7 ways to design a poster, Design Summer academy, Phoenix Creative Park, Hangzhou, China
Various design programmes and creative methods using different techniques together on one poster. Working iteratively and presenting the work inside the group were the core values taught in this two-week class.
2023 Community Characters , a workshop as part of the INT’L International Graphic Design Festival.
Two day workshop generating a basic variable font by working on one to two letters with two characteristics each. As a joint experience the group came up with a full unicase glyphset.
